Pedestrian infrastructure on Slade Road, Saggart to link the existing footpath outside Drury Mills to the existing footpath at Millbrook Nursing Home.
• The proposed traffic calming measures are a raised pedestrian crossing point where the existing footpath terminates beside the nursing home and another approx. 25-30m south of there the existing footpath terminates on Slade Rd adjacent to Drury Mills.

• Where the new footpath is to be constructed on the eastern side of the road, there are 2 sections of an open drain that will need to be piped, one is above the entrance to Boherboy reservoir (approx. 100m long ) and the other below the reservoir entrance (approx. 140m long).

• There will be no changes to either the vertical or horizontal alignment of the road, so we will not be altering the width of the existing road. When the proposed footpath is installed, the yellow edge markings and white centreline will be redone.
